Educating the whole child

We are a free, public, charter school in Ukiah, CA. Our Montessori curriculum emphasizes the prepared environment and meeting all students at their level.

We serve grades TK through 8. Any student who turns 4 by September 1, 2025 may apply for TK. Join our school where your child will be known individually and personally!

Here is our 2025 LCAP for your review. It will be adopted on Monday, June 16, 2025 at 5:00 pm.

  • Our new building is almost done!

Our new multipurpose room is here! Yesterday we had Ben Franklin Plumbing connect the sewer and water lines. We still have some red tape to cut through but we are nearly there!

  • Progressive feast on Nov. 21

Every year our school does what we call the Progressive Feast. Each classroom puts together a small food treat. Then, the students move in groups from room to room enjoying the snacks and doing various activities. Watch for messages from your student’s teacher about this event!

Our Vision

Like parents everywhere, we care about our children, want what’s best for them, and know that their experience in school can have a great impact on the quality of their life.

We want them to have an education that is worthy of their beauty and potential.

We want them in a place where they are known, not as faces in a crowd, but individually and personally.

We want them in a school where they receive direct, high-quality attention, where their actual needs are met, where their potential is being realized.
